Fiahing Tour

All high quality Shimano equipment and bait are provided, along with training and guidance from Rottnest Cruises’ expert crew. Fishing Tour goers get to keep what they catch, and if you’d rather not clean your fish, you can request to have it gilled and gutted on board (as long as it’s of legal size).

Tour includes complimentary cafe-style coffees and teas, water and soft drinks as well as an egg and bacon breakfast on board. BYO additional food and beverages are also welcome.

DEPARTS Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure, as we leave promptly.
WHAT TO BRING All fishing equipment and bait is supplied, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Tour includes complimentary cafe-style coffees and teas, water and soft drinks as well as an egg and bacon breakfast on board. BYO additional food and beverages are also welcome.

Wear flat, covered shoes and appropriate comfortable clothing for the weather – for example a long sleeve shirt that will protect your arms and shoulders from sunburn and a warm jacket/pants as it can get cool on the water. Sun protection is a must when outdoors for such a period of time so dont forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and  lip balm. If you suffer from seasickness, we recommend taking appropriate medication as this tour goes out on the open ocean.

Our coastal waters are very healthy and productive for fishing, but there is no guarantee you will catch fish. We will, of course, help you as much as possible.

All bookings subject to Rottnest Cruises’ Terms & Conditions.

  • 5 star ratingAmazing day, well worth it Well worth it, not cheap but covers ferry to Rottnest and the 3 hour seafood cruise, with unlimited drinks from moment you get on board!! Sparkling, White and Rose wine. Beer is fifty lashes, corona and Peroni I think, plus water and soft drinks. Great fun pulling up the pots and hearing about all the info on cray fishing. Staff all amazing and looked after us all extremely well. Food was amazing, obviously super fresh lobster, oysters were heaven as we're prawns and fish. You can have a quick dip as well just before lunch Downsides it's only three hours, which goes to quick and feels a little rushed.

  • 5 star ratingA great day out Part of a package that was excellent value. A must trip that offered a bus trip around the Island with a very knowledgeable guide.

  • 5 star ratingWorth every penny An absolutely amazing day out. Great day. Great crew. Excellent food and experience. Had a chance to swim in a stunning bay while lunch was being prepared. Can not recommend highly enough.

  • 4 star ratingGreat cruise This is a great relaxing cruise that will also educate you on catching crayfish. The meal included was wonderful, and staff friendly and happy.

  • 5 star ratingRather expensive but worth seeing WE visited Rottnest Island in February 2020. The beaches were wonderful. We got a lot of pleasure. On the other hand the ticket to get the Island was rathe expensive - 70 AUD

  • 5 star ratingWonderful experience We were taken great care of and the staff, food and drinks were all first class. Would highly recommend it to both locals and tourists alike
